Your First Visit

We are excited to meet you and feel honored that you have chosen our Lexington, SC dental practice for your oral health needs.  We will work to earn your trust and hope you will feel comfortable referring your friends and family here.

New Patient Paperwork

We have all of our New Patient Forms on our website for your convenience.  If you have access to a computer and printer at home, please go ahead and print these four forms and have them completed when you check-in for your first appointment.  This will decrease your waiting time and, in turn, help us to better serve you! If you are unable to print the New Patient Forms, please arrive to your first appointment fifteen minutes early and be prepared to complete these four forms prior to treatment.  You may also call and request that we mail the paper forms to your home prior to your initial visit.

What to Expect

Your initial appointment will last approximately 1.5 hours. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. Depending on your specific circumstances, we may also take xrays and clean your teeth on this visit, as well as provide a comprehensive evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment. Dr. Rodgers will listen carefully to your specific desires, discuss your options, as well as help you to determine the best treatment plan to fit your needs.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that if your appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled that you do so at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, as we do not double book appointments at Northwood Dental Associates. Your treatment time is reserved specifically for you so that you receive our undivided attention and excellent individualized care. We understand that unforeseen events sometimes come up at the last minute and require you miss an appointment, but we simply ask that you respect our time as we strive to respect yours. After missing your second appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you are subject to being charged an empty chair fee of $25 for a missed hygiene appointment and $50 for a missed doctor appointment.
