Dr. Eddie Rodgers
Originally from Batesburg, SC, Dr. Rodgers grew up in Lexington County and always knew that he wanted to return to the area to raise his family and eventually to practice dentistry. His enthusiasm for the dental profession and his care for others is evident in the gracious, empathetic manner in which he treats all of his patients. Dr. Rodgers’ dedication to a high standard of healthcare is the foundation upon which Northwood Dental Associates is built.
Dr. Rodgers graduated from Clemson University and went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Medical College of Georgia heavily weighted in implant placement and IV sedation. Committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, he maintains memberships with professional organizations such as the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Greater Columbia Dental Association.
Dr. Rodgers is active in his community as a volunteer with Lexington Children’s Dental Clinic, as well as around the world, having offered his services on dental mission trips to South America. He is also a Major in the South Carolina Army National Guard and is presently serving as the State Dental Officer. Dr. Rodgers and his wife, Ginger, have two children, daughter, Grey, and son, Bates.
